History:

I've been fond of Bubba since he made such a splash his first spring training with the Yankees. The Yanks didn't give him anything close to a real chance until September 2005; he did well enough then that I decided then that he deserved a shot at an everyday starting job. The Yankees disagreed, alas.

I started blogging about Bubba in the spring of 2006. A blog is poor way to organize information, though. I finally decided that there should be a traditional Web site as well as a blog, and in November 2006, Bubba-Crosby.com was born.
