Work to be done... around the house

Injuries, injuries and more injuries seem to be the topic of the first half of the season. However, I'm thankful that I've only missed 15 games. It seems as if every time one problem goes away another one starts up. Right now it's my lower back and right shoulder. My back is hurting from a right knee injury that was bothering me before. My right shoulder is hurting because a few nights ago I fell on it catching a ball and slightly sprained it. It's nothing that will cause me to stay out of the lineup, but it sure can be painful.

Well, our team sure is doing much better since the last time we talked. We lost one of our starters for a week or so due to a sore elbow, but he should be ready soon. I believe our team is about two or three games over five hundred. I think we're slowly putting it together as a team. We're second in the league in hitting and climbing up in pitching.

I've been doing well at the plate these last few nights. The last week things have been kind of slow. I've been working with my hitting coach these last few days and things have slowly come around. As far as standings go I believe I'm tied with first in triples and third in stolen bases. If I can just stay healthy and keep from getting hurt I should be all right.

My roommates are pretty cool. We just had a conversation about who cleans around the house and who doesn't. I think I clean all the time, but they say I never do. Well, if you look at are rooms you will see who cleans and who doesn't. I'm sure you don't really care what my room looks like, but I thought I would just let you know.
