March 7, 2008: Bubba does not pass his physical and is released by the Mariners. They didn't say why, but it's probably his shoulder.
February 19, 2008: Bubba signs a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners. An invitation to spring training is not included, so he will report March 6 with the minor leaguers.
October 15, 2007: The Reds grant Bubba free agency.
July 20, 2007: Bubba has successful but season-ending surgery in Cincinnati for shoulder tendinitis.
